HOW IT WORKS

cat

Every creature needs to maintain its own body balance, a natural balance that is lost over time while we offer them an environment that is not their natural. Therefore it is necessary to help them with the right body work techniques that can provide the body with the tools it needs to do its own healing, because it is the body itself the one that will do all the internal shifting and recovery…our work as a health practitioners is to make sure that it can get the blood, with all the nutrients and that it can send all the information to the nervous system that it needs in order the heal. These techniques usually do not cause any pain, but discomfort to the patient when they are performed and are generally gentle which might cause the animal to almost fall asleep during the session. The body has the capacity of self-healing, but sometimes also needs to be redirected and there is where I join in to tell the body when it needs to redistribute attention, where to focus...and I open the path. Generally, after the first session, good changes can be observed, in more serious cases the response may take a little longer, however the body is healing. It is essential to maintain this balance, especially in older animals, where not only their quality of life will improve but also the possibility of enjoying them for a longer time. The sessions can last a minimum of half an hour to an hour in most cases. The following twenty-four hours the animal should be at rest without much physical activity that requires effort or waste of energy unnecessarily. With the treatments, the connection that should exist between the nervous system, the mind and the body is reestablished in order to accelerate the healing process, and the nutrition of the animal is evaluated with a holistic approach. I like to work together with the veterinarian, it allows me to gather all the information as we aim for a common goal, the animal's good health.
